ShynessDo you have difficulty relating to others in a large group, or is it difficult for you to meet new people in social situations? At Archways Centre for CBT, we help individuals living with excessive shyness in London Ontario to overcome their social anxiety and learn how to relate to others. All treating clinicians at our group practice are Psychologists or Psychological Associates registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, providing you with a supportive and confidential environment in which to discuss and work through your social shyness.

Shyness London OntarioWe provide more than just ‘talk therapy’ at Archways Centre for CBT, our evidence-based treatment, called Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), is a short-term approach to dealing long-term with stress, anxiety, problematic moods, and social issues such as shyness. Typically lasting between 6-20 sessions, your personalized treatment plan will be developed based around your specific needs and goals. You may have weekly or bi-weekly sessions, and we will talk with you to determine whether group therapy would also be beneficial.
 
London Ontario ShynessCBT is designed to help you see the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop strategies to change the way you feel and act, for the better! We’ll also give you the tools you need to implement CBT into your everyday interactions, whether it’s at work, home, or in social situations. We’ll monitor your problems and progress, moving at a pace that works for you.

To make it even easier for you to visit us, our convenient downtown location has free onsite parking. You may find that some of our fees can be reimbursed by your insurance plan, , and you’ll never need a referral before you give us a call. It’s our policy to try our best to schedule your first appointment within a week, and our flexible scheduling allows for morning, afternoon, or evening appointments.
